Ingredients: Lecithin Granules (soy lecithin). Contains Soy. Processed on equipment that also processes: Crustacean Shellfish, Egg, Fish, Milk, Peanut, Soy, Tree Nuts (Almond, Brazil Nut, Cashew, Coconut, Filbert (Hazelnut), Macadamia Nut, Pecan, Pine Nut, Pistachio, Walnut) and Wheat.
- A phosphorus compound contained in the cell material of animal and vegetables, such as the yolk of an egg.
- To mix Lecithin Granules use one tablespoon of granules per every cup of flour to improve moisture and texture in a variety of baked goods including breads and cookies.
- Gives bread a longer shelf life and better crust consistency. Also makes it lighter.
- Granules are used the same as powder. If a recipe calls for liquid lecithin, use 1/3 less of granules or powder. Nutritionally, there is no difference between liquid and powder.
