- Recipe: 1½ cups water, 1 cup milk, ¾ cup Cheddar Broccoli Soup Starter. In a heavy saucepan, combine water, milk and soup mix. Stir until smooth and let stand for 5 minutes. Over medium heat, stir constantly until thickened. Do not allow to boil. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Optional additions and uses: cooked bacon or ham, steamed broccoli or cauliflower florets. Pour over baked potatoes or rice.
